SSE Premixes
Nano Minerals
Fat-coated nanoparticles of zinc, copper, manganese and iron for high-bioavailability trace-mineral nutrition.
SSE Premixes are manufactured by CFI Feed Ingredients B.V. in the Netherlands. The premixes use a special process to fat-coat nano-sized zinc, copper, manganese and iron particles. CFI states that the enhanced bioavailability can allow inclusion rates to be reduced by 50-75% versus standard inorganic trace minerals while delivering equal or better results.
Key Benefits
- Fat-coated nano-sized trace minerals
- Enhanced bioavailability through a specialised manufacturing process
- Can allow 50-75% lower inclusion than standard inorganic trace minerals
- Manufacturer reports equal or better results at the reduced inclusion rates
Composition
Mineral components (concentrations are formulation-specific)
- Zinc (Zn) - Fat-coated nanoparticle
- Copper (Cu) - Fat-coated nanoparticle
- Manganese (Mn) - Fat-coated nanoparticle
- Iron (Fe) - Fat-coated nanoparticle
Indications
- As a high-bioavailability source of zinc, copper, manganese and iron in animal feed
- For partial replacement of standard inorganic trace-mineral inclusion in professionally formulated feed
Dosage and Administration
- Feed formulation - Use at an inclusion rate reduced by up to 50-75% versus the standard inorganic trace-mineral programme - Confirm the exact rate for the selected formulation
Warnings
- CFI does not publish a single concentration, species-specific dose, pack size or storage specification for all SSE formulations on its website.
- Confirm the current product specification and exact inclusion rate with CFI, the supplier or a qualified animal nutritionist before formulation.
